Fuchida Script Reviews
Many copies of the Fuchida script have been sent to a wide variety of reviewers, from historians and producers, to young people and old, and to people of many different backgrounds. Below is a true representative of the overall response to the Fuchida film script:
I thought it was amazing. The whole time I was reading it I honestly felt like I was watching it on screen. It was an extremely enjoyable read.
WOW!!
Really action-packed, very well written and made me care about each of the characters.
It was enthralling and I couldn’t put it down … a thrilling story well told!
I am convinced “Fuchida” has the potential of being a huge commercial success and one of the most inspirational movies of all time.
Gripping! Couldn’t put it down!
This is a great script. I know more than most about the Pacific War. Everything in the script has a ring of authenticity about it. The words and attitudes of everyone are "as is" and not contrived. I am so impressed by what your research has uncovered.
Enthralling!
Fuchida will be a smash hit movie on the big screen one day! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the script!
You have a real “page turner” here, I couldn’t put the story down. The descriptions of each scene were excellent and I could relate to the characters’ personalities. The more I read, the more I wanted to read.
Frankly, I felt moved throughout the entire reading experience.
Brilliant!
This was an amazing story … after I starting reading, I couldn't put it down.
This amazing true story needs to be told.
God is cool and He is always at work in people's lives – even in prison, or in terrible loss or disappointment as these characters experienced. This is definitely a story that must hit the big screen.
It’s a beautiful story, and I didn’t want it to end. Thanks to this film, it won't have to.
An inspiring story!
Very touching ending … moved me to tears.
I started reading it this morning with the intent to finish at another time, but I couldn't put it down.
You pulled together an incredible story!
The film has great potential – it has a powerful ending.
You are amazing. I am amazed at how detailed and prepared you are in this story.
Will be the best film I’ve seen in 10 years. I couldn’t be more enthusiastic.
So many excellent scenes!
You can't watch a movie like this and not be affected. This script does an amazing job of gaining the interest of the viewer in a character and then leaving an impact that means something more than eight dollars well spent at the movies.
After reading the script, my first impression was, ‘Wow – amazing story!!’
I think you’ve done an amazing job ... congratulations!
I get bored very easily with fiction - but this is obviously in no way fiction. Being factual it is so much more riveting.
It’s a fantastic film, and I think you’ll probably pull it off.
I hated to put it down … I found it exciting to the end!
“Fuchida” is an exceptional screenplay. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The historical accuracy and factual portrayal of the characters and events would make it a great historical epic drama. The portrayal of the Japanese people throughout the drama was done with great sensitivity.
After I started reading, I just couldn’t stop until I finished it. Great story!

Very Brief Executive Summary
25% of $2 million development budget is already pledged. The total production budget will be between $120 and $150 million USD and will require up to $40 million in equity capital, what I am ultimately seeking, in exchange for an equity position in the film project.
Chief advisor for film project was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment and was VP and CFO of 20th Century Fox. Entertainment attorney co-founded Sundance Film Festival and is chairman of a film lending bank and I have already met in person with the CEO of one of the major studios in Los Angeles. I am an experienced writer and I co-founded a business that now employs over 100 with gross sales over $20 million.
Three years were spent developing this true story of the Japanese war hero who led the attack on Pearl Harbor and whose life was dramatically changed by an American POW and a young lady he never met. The best comparison of this epic film would be a combination of "Saving Private Ryan" and "Ben-Hur".
Half of this story is the Japanese side, half the American side. Script has been vetted and critiqued on 5 continents, all extremely positive. The #1 and #2 film markets in the world are the U.S. and Japan respectively. Primary film market is 18-24 and script "screeners" in this age group have all been very enthusiastic (as have all other age groups).
Hungry Kitty, LLC was established in 2005 to produce several compelling true stories as feature films. We are now ready to go into development.
The $2 million will allow Hungry Kitty, LLC to secure an A-list director, key talent, produce detailed shooting script and budget and enable Hungry Kitty, LLC to secure balance of necessary equity capital to go into production.
